During my recent stay at the Waie Inn for a gourmet getaway, I was delighted by its seamless blend of comfort and culinary excellence. The twin room was immaculate, with ample towels, a well-stocked tea station, and loads of cupboard space. The staff were remarkably helpful; a young lady even carried our bags to our room, which added a personal touch to our welcome. We dined late on our first evening and opted for the beer-battered cod and scampi, both of which were exceptional, albeit generously portioned. After struggling to finish our mains, I managed to dive into the meringue glacé, which was well worth the effort. Each dish reflected attention to detail, but it nearly overshadowed the delight of the breakfast experience the following day. A well-curated menu, featuring a large full English alongside abundant choices like cereals and fresh fruit, set us up perfectly for the day. I'll be back to savor more of their exceptional offerings and, of course, to check on those adorable rabbits!
